Starry Night Bronze

Sculpted in Zbrush, converted to a negative mold in Freeform and 3D printed to pour a wax master for bronze casting. This was kind of an experiment for a bronze workshop we did at work and the first time I've done bronze. It worked, but I had a lot of cleanup to do on the wax before going to bronze. Still have to finish chasing the bronze, sandblast it and patina. Hoping to eventually do a companion to this one with moon instead of the star and give them to my daughters. Second image shows state of actual bronze piece. Physical piece stands about 10" tall. Zbrush/Keyshot/Photoshop
